DUOMED UK'S QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT
Duomed UK is a quality conscious organisation and as such we acknowledge the potential impact that the quality of our operations, products and services may have on our customers.
This policy has been established by top management who fully support its implementation. Top management are responsible for ensuring that it is communicated, understood, implemented and maintained at all levels within the organisation.
We have defined our organisational purpose as follows:
Duomed UK is an innovative organisation in the endoscopy healthcare marketplace. We apply purpose designed products and solutions from around the globe to help facilitate improved delivery of healthcare in NHS hospitals and trusts.
Our focus is to provide a range from single use only medical devices through to advanced technologies, predominantly in the gastroenterology and radiology fields, which are technologically superior to our competition or are economically advantageous to our customers. We also intend to supply similar to the Private Healthcare sector.
We procure product directly from OEM manufacturers, which we then promote, market and re-sell via a direct salesforce. We participate in NHS and Private healthcare tenders and frameworks for contracted sales in the UK & Ireland.
We do not design, or manufacture product and these elements are therefore excluded from the QMS.
Our operations and functions are designed to give clarity and direction to our organisation and the team within it, whilst satisfying the needs and expectations of our Shareholders, Supplier Partners and customers.
The goal of Duomed UK is to provide a high quality, fully integrated service to our customers, partners and suppliers, whilst contributing to the continued success of the European organisation, Duomed Group.
We are committed to the maintenance and enhancement of our quality management through the continual improvement of our management systems. This has been facilitated through the setting of quality objectives based on our significant quality aspects. These objectives will be documented, allocated targets and programmes and be periodically monitored and reviewed. The results of which are communicated throughout the organisation and available to interested parties where appropriate.
As an organisation, we are committed to ensuring that we:
- Comply with all compliance obligations; including codes of practice and guidance produced by regulatory bodies and specific standards, relating to our quality aspects.
- Provide all employees with the necessary resources, equipment, information, instruction and training to fulfil the requirements of this policy, commensurate with their role.
- Work towards maintaining a formal Quality Management System (QMS) that complies with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2015, as defined within the scope of our QMS.
- Strive to integrate quality best practice into our business operations.
This policy will be communicated to all employees and organisations working for or on our behalf. Employees and other organisations are expected to co-operate and assist in the implementation of this policy, whilst ensuring that their own work, so far as is reasonably practicable, is carried out without risk to our quality objectives.
This policy will be reviewed annually by top management and where deemed necessary will be amended and re-issued. Previous versions will be archived and are available upon request.
This policy statement is displayed on site. It is publicly available upon reasonable request by any interested party.
