In the Scandinavian market there is a focus on minimizing packaging, certified and recyclable materials, eliminating and phasing out unwanted substances in products as well as on sustainable solutions in relation to transportation and manufacturing of products.

At Duomed, we strongly believe in working together with our customers and suppliers to make a difference to benefit us all. We are therefore proud to announce we are first to supply PVC Free disposable bipolar forceps in Denmark and Sweden.

Together with our partner Pheasant, we evaluated to see where we could improve the forceps portfolio in terms of sustainability. We are proud to announce the launch of the second edition of the bipolar disposable forceps.

The product is made without PVC and epoxy glue, and thus a better alternative for the environment. The use and design are similar to the forceps you use today.
The manufacturer is ISO 14001 certified. (internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for an environmental management system)
The packaging is FSC certified and easier to recycle.

You can recognize the new PVC-Free products by the mention of 'PVCF' on the packaging.
