The snare provides deliberate and thorough cutting capabilities specifically for complex polypectomy procedures like endoscopic mucosal resectons (EMR).
Description
The CoinTip snare is the newest addition to the snare portfolio and features:
- A flattened, thin wire at the tip of the snare loop for precise hot and cold polypectomy cutting capabilities
- Double catheter that includes an internal strain relief for added support to reduce the chance of buckling during resection
- Three distinct shapes and multiple size options to help address a variety of procedural needs
- 20mm deltoid snare - Encompasses majority of lesions
- 10mm hexagonal snare - Offers stiffness and control to capture and resect polyps
- 6mm diamond snare - Provides specific placement for diminutive polyps and cleaning up resection site margins
- Maintained shape and integrity after multiple resections
- Dual indication for use with or without electrocautery
