Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect / Data Engineer to support inhouse development of our datawarehouse (DWH) built in Azure Synapse. Currently the only source in our DWH is Microsoft Dynamics F&O. We want to integrate more data from F&O but also new sources such as Prophix. This role requires a deep understanding of SQL, data architecture, and data integration techniques.
Knowledge of F&O tables and Pyspark / databricks are strong assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize data architectures and pipelines to support expanding business needs.
- Integrate data from F&O and other sources like e.g. Prophix into the existing data warehouse.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure seamless data flow.
- Implement and maintain ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, pipelines, and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our data architecture and processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or Data Engineer.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft F&O, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Azure Synapse and Databricks.
- Experience with data integration from multiple sources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preffered skills:
- Experience with other BI tools and data platforms.
- Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
- Familiarity with data modeling techniques and tools in the Microsoft BI stack.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
