What your future may hold

As a Legal Counsel at Duomed, you will:
• review, draft and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, with a strong focus on distribution agreements;
• ensure compliance of all agreements with applicable legislation and the group policies and advise on relevant risks and obligations;
• co-ordinate corporate housekeeping of the various Duomed legal entities;
• provide ad hoc legal advice to the various legal entities within the group;
• handle disputes and follow-up on litigations;
• communicate with and instruct external legal counsel;
• assist the General Counsel in M&A processes and post merger integration activities;
• develop contract templates, assist in the setting up of a consolidated contract database, develop and organize internal legal training sessions and participate in other projects in support of structuring the legal operations;
• support in the overall legal compliance management of the Duomed activities (Code of
Conduct, competition law, ESG, bribery & anti-corruption, specific legislation on gifts, etc.) and
the organization of e-learnings.

Legal Counsel

Your skillset

• With 5 years or more of relevant in-house legal experience or relevant professional experience in a business law firm, you have a good command of general commercial law (B2B) and a solid understanding of competition law.
• You hold a Belgian Master’s in Law.
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English is essential, paired with good proficiency in French.
• You are enthusiastic and eager to take on challenges, with a commitment to delivering highquality services.
• Your solid social and communication skills enable you to build strong work relationships and communicate clearly, effectively and in a concise manner.
• You have a hands-on, proactive, flexible and solution driven approach.
• You are a team player but can also work autonomously.
