The Commode Chair is designed for infection control. It does not contain porous material and is designed to limit wear and hard-to-reach areas for easy cleaning and disinfection.
With a wider wheelbases than most commercially available commodes, making it safer and more stable during use. Made of steel with an E-COAT finish, it is adjustable in height and can also be ordered in a larger format.

The Hygie Commode/Bedside Chair systems follow the same evolution as the set of best practices in prevention of nosocomial infections (HAI). For example, commodes with upholstered seats and solder joints make cleaning difficult, and do not guarantee successful disinfection, and should no longer have their place in health care institutions.
